This spectacular antique 18ct Yellow Gold star pendant/ brooch is Victorian Circa 1900.

The fabulous piece is adorned with bright red synthetic Rubies and a star burst of sparkling old cut Diamonds.

The Ruby is considered to be the most powerful gem of the universe, given as a gift, the Ruby is a symbol of friendship, love and loyalty.

The central Ruby alone is over 5ct with 15ct of Rubies in total across the piece.

With a gem tester the stones test as Ruby but we have sent these off to be tested at great lengths and they are actually synthetic but with a trained eye one would never know.

If these were natural untreated earth Rubies you would be looking at a price tag of approx. 50 thousand pounds!

The piece can be worn as a pendant or a brooch and is fitted with a sturdy pin as well as a loop.

This is a truly stunning antique piece that would look beautiful displayed on a chain or pinned to a lapel.
